WOD: EMOTM for 24 minutes

  • Double unders (40 seconds)

  • Sit ups (40 seconds)

  • Turkish getups

This WOD was much different than most our other wods. I began with Double Unders, which were a skill I have been working on for the semester. at the beginning of the year i wouldnt be able to do more than 2. But i Was able to crank out 42, which is my new best. Next was Sit-ups. I was able to put my feet on the bench to help anchor my body down. My first round was by far the best with 56. But I stayed around 45+ the entire time.Moving on to The Turkish Getups, which are a new skill there was a difficult learning curve, but i was finally able to get it. Once i got the skill I was able to climb my weights up all the way to 45lbs.

This WOD was about speed and going hard and trying to beat your last score, which helped everyone keep pushing as hard as they could.
